During July 2022, Bells Power Group welcomed five students to take part in work experience over the course of a week. All five Bells business units are able to offer a different experience every day during this week for the students. 

At our office/warehouse in Belvedere, we introduced these students to the busy world of work! Our team of engineers, admin staff and Director all got involved in showing the students the variety of work that goes into running the business – this was great for the students to experience an array of different employability skills.

During their time here, the students experienced working within our penal workshop – they completed a variety of practical activities and our PLC Engineers taught them all about generator ComAp controllers. The practical activities included cutting 0-volt links, panel wiring and installation, wiring up switch lighting circuits and they carried out functional testing on Day Tank Panels. All five students expressed great interest in these activities and really enjoyed themselves!
